Squyres United Methodist Church is what folks call an “open country” church.  Located on Highway 171 between Lake Charles and DeRidder, Squyres ministers to the Ragley/Longville area.  The congregation has all ages.  The greatest strength of Squyres is the people.  The people, the relationships, the fellowship, and the connections keep it vital.  In 2012, Squyres became part of the Town and Country Academy for Ministry in the Louisiana Annual Conference.  The Academy works on strengths of the congregation while helping build relationships with the community through outreach and mission.  Squyres is excited about the possibilities of new connections and relationships.

Through Town and Country, Squyres established the South Beauregard Schools Knight Pack Program.  During the school year children in need receive food over the weekends. You can sponsor a child for $200.  To sponsor a child or obtain more information call the church office at 337-725-6146.
